One interesting fact is that the path to having a career as a astrophysicist begins in middle school. So, I have 3 years of middle school, 4 years of highschool, 4 years of college, and 2 years of graduate school. That's 13 years of school training to be an astrophysicist! I also want to be an Astronomer, but the two go hand-in-hand so all I have to do is throw in Astronomy courses here and there.
